'James Bond' filming suspended amid MGM woes

LONDON (AP) - Producers contend work upon the subsequent James Bond movie has been halted indefinitely since of uncertainty about the destiny of distributor Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Inc.

Producers Michael G. Wilson as well as Barbara Broccoli contend growth of the movie was suspended after MGM unsuccessful to find the buyer. They pronounced late Monday they did not know when work would resume.

MGM put itself up for sale after the slump in DVD sales as well as the lack of hits left it unable to manage the $3.7 billion debt.

Wilson as well as Broccoli's EON Productions has constructed twenty-two Bond thrillers since 1962. The new film, known usually as "Bond 23," had been due for recover in 2011 or 2012.

Bond actor Daniel Craig says he has confidence in the producers as well as looks forward to production resuming.
